Default 2 preflop pushes PS 100NL 6max

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($93)
BB ($148.65)
UTG ($139.20)
Hero ($212.10)
CO ($44.45)
Button ($109.15)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, CO calls $4, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $16</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $212.1</font>

Villain is 25/18 in ~100 hands. They seemed to "over-respect" my raises. They prolly wouldn't after this one Complete spew?

first few orbits on the table, no reads on villain. I won the 25 bucks in a couple hands w/ no showdown. What's the flop plan if you call? Do u fold this to unknown?

i almost never do this. just fold hand 1 and in hand two i'm prob calling and seeing a flop but I don't think a reraise to $50 is bad here. The push seems silly, IMO- a reraise does the same and hopefully allows some worse hands to call us, unlike the push where i think only better hands call.

All right Hand 1 isn't worth much discussion. For hand 2 , isn't any significant 4bet commits us?

You a tournament player by any chance?

without a specific read that button is reraising light (like most any two) both these pushes are suicide.

Pockets, AQ+, maybe AJ+ are in an aggressive opponents range.

Basically you are either flipping or crushed.

Hand 1 is suicide unless he's squeezing(I know I know FPS I did that for metagame purposes lol). but I think I can make a case for Hand 2. Villain is unknown. Against a 3bet range of JJ+/AQ+ I have about 43% equity. I'm behind 36% against QQ+/AK, dominated 19% against QQ+. Obviouly I'm not calling w/ JJ, but I think you need a read that he's a rock to prove my push is a big mistake.
