Does anyone not c/bet here?
I can't not take a stab at this pot, can i? This seems pretty standard to me.

Re: Does anyone not c/bet here?
standard for me..some people might say it is okay to check onc e to induce a bluff on the turn since there aren'tmany draws that will call you on this board.. a 7 may call you though, and 88-10s..anther reason i dot like checking here, even thugh it may inducce bluffs / induce calls from hands that you beat on the turn/river is because if a K/A comes up yo uget even more scared and probably end up getting less value out of hands that you beat since those cards may scare you opponent aswell. but if a 2 and 3 comes as turn/river you probably end up extracting more value i guess.

Re: Does anyone not c/bet here?
Since it's just a C-bet, and because it's a draw-less board, I would bet only about 1/2 the pot. Maybe $1.
Wihtout a read, without draws, I think you have to fold to the raise. -Tom |

Re: Does anyone not c/bet here?
This depends on how often you have been c-betting these types of situations...

Re: Does anyone not c/bet here?
Reads would help.
But sure, I c-bet here. Why not? It's a good way to exploit the shortness of the CO to knock out the SB. If the SB calls or re-raises, you have an easy fold. And I call that puny raise. |

Re: Does anyone not c/bet here?
yeah, given stack sizes. just bet the flop. If he happened to get lucky and have you beat now, well then so be it. Theres no other way to play this against a stack this short, unless ur playing live and he flips over a queen.

Re: Does anyone not c/bet here?
Since I am not folding for his $3 anyway I like to sometimes bet out exactly his stack size to show him who's in command. If he wins this he will call any value bet from me in the same situation in the future.
I haven't done this enough times to be statistically significant but so far I have gotten some ridiculous calls this way. |

Re: Does anyone not c/bet here?
*grunch*
I always c-bet here. I'd call his push here, you're getting about 4-to-1 and not calling here is a big mistake I think. (it would depend on what the SB does after his shove, if he reraises all-in with a push this is a easy fold, but taking your post I guess he folded). People push with any 2 cards on 10NL, he'd could do this with a queen but he'll do it with air or middle/low pair too. |
