depends how you define liberal - the stereotype is that they're all a bunch of hippies who smoke a lot of pot, but I think columbia is probably considered the most politically liberal

I applied and definitely had the grades and scores to get in, but was told that I must take a full year of Chemistry before I was admitted. Seeing how I can't take a full year of chemistry in a half year, I guess I won't be going there...

I just want to say I had your resume (including Texas ARML haha) with more sports, and better test scores, and I got rejected from Stanford. Of course, it turns out that I probably would've hated Stanford. I love my college and I didn't even think about going here until I got in, so YMMV.
