Default I want help to analyse the correct decision here...

Hello!
Recently, i was playing a real life tournament with a buy in that is equivalent to about 50+5$. There were about 29 players from the start, 6 would cash in the money.

Starting stack: 10 000
Starting blinds: 50/100
Round intervall: 20 minutes

This hand takes place when there was about 11 players left.
Blinds were 600/1200. In the hand before I had just doubled up from 7000 to 14000 with JJ.

Now, to the hand.
We were 5 players at the able, I have AQ offsuit.
If player 1 and 2 are the blinds, then I was player 4. All players are quite tight players, except for the big blind who is quite agressive.
Here are the sizes of the stacks:

1 (small blind): ca 7000
2 (big blind): ca 22000
3 (UTG): slightly above 4000
4 (Me) : c:a 14 000
5 (Button): somewhere between 15-20 000

The UTG-player moves all in. I figure he is desperate since he will barely survive the blinds and may have moved in with any hand. Besides, he only has 4000 and I still have a chance to win the tournament even if I lose this pot. So, I move all in to chase out other players. The button folds, the small blind calls. The big blind fols. So now there's me, the small blind and the UTG player.
UTG player has 910 offsuit. Small blind has JJ. I get no help to my hand, and the UTG players hits the straight on the river. I lost 4000 to the UTG player and 3000 more to the small blind.

I was now down to 7000 and tried to steal the blinds with 78 suited the next hand. I was called by AK and lost.
Now to my question, did I make the right move with AQ when the small stack moved in in front of me?

Yeah, your isolate push was perfectly standard with stacks this shallow. Someone picking up JJ behind you was kinda bad luck. Still, you were in perfectly fine shape in the race, and would have gotten a very nice stack if you picked up a queen or ace on the board. Too bad, next time.

Yes good play, pretty standard IMO.
