Gay spot vs colson in 200r

I have a pretty loose/laggy image. Colson has played pretty standard. Usually I bet flop blah blah... Seems so exploitable if I fold but what kind of range do you put him on? He left 3400ish behind after his raise.

I would call and check the river and probably call a bet.

i agree w betgo i didnt like flop check w 2 high cards on board u couldve defined your hand better on flop as played i cant fold here thats too weak tightish

yep, Call, Check riv, call bet, comfortably too.

55 is all id be worried about.

I think he's making a play on you a huge percentage of the time. I bet the flop blah blah. As played, call down.

I guess I'm the only one that likes the line occasionally against a known aggressive postflop player, as long as the plan all along is to call this turn and check/call the river.

I agree mostly. I would usually bet the flop with top pair, but checking sometimes is OK, and it makes your hand harser to read. I am not a fan of defining your hand. Here your hand is undefined and neither player has a clue what the other has.

er....by 'a bet' you mean all in. On the river the pot will be 5500 and colson has like 3900 left, right?

Seems you need to do a little bit better than "probably" call a bet here, you need to decide now if you're getting it all in.
