Re: QQ first hand of a free tournament
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] In a $100 tourney, easy push. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Probably the worst advice to give. QQ first hand of a $100 buy in tourny, open shove? your crazy. You'll only get called by hands that will beat you. and your % of times where you scoop the blinds wont make up for it. Dont give bad advice. |

In this hand it had been raised to t480, one third of heros stack. I don't know about in a $100, but in this tourney you should certainly do like these guys: |

Re: QQ first hand of a free tournament
push. you either start with 2x chips or go do something worthwhile with your time. eventually you will be in the position to push with something even less than QQ so why not do it now?

Re: QQ first hand of a free tournament
[ QUOTE ]
10/20 blinds, everyone has 1500; it's a 10 FPP $1000 added tournament; I'm first in with a raise to 100. One caller. Next player to acts raises to 480. I'm assuming that a lot of people in these free things want to double up / don't care that much, etc. Is that wrong? Push or fold? [/ QUOTE ] If it were like one hours levels, you could make a case for not pushing, but most likely these freerolls will have 5-10 minute levels and this is a pretty easy shove. |
