Screensaver problem

Hey guys, I recently bought a new computer and whenever the screen saver goes on and I move the mouse to get the computer going again all I get is a black screen. The sound on the computer still works and everything seems to function alright, but obviously it's impossible to maneuver with a blank screen.

Any ideas?
