Default Doyle\'s Room E-mail: Is This Legit?

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THE INFORMATION BELOW IN FULL. THE
FOLLOWING IS IMPORTANT NEWS THAT YOU MUST READ BEFORE PLAYING IN DOYLE'S
ROOM.

We are proud to inform you that your poker room, Doyle's Room, has taken
great steps to ensure your privacy. In light of recent political/world/legal
events, Doyle's Room vigorously undertook an extensive security update to
ensure a higher level of security to online poker play. While other poker
rooms simply abandon their players, by implementing this new level of
security we have made great strides in not only protecting but pioneering a
secure and private internet for all poker players!

In order to facilitate these updates we have changed our password policy.
Sometime in the next 24 hours your password will be changed. If you can not
login using your existing password please log in with the password below.

Your screen name and new password are as follows:

[...]

* (Please note that passwords are case sensitive. If your new password has
any uppercase characters, you must enter those characters when typing your
password.)

You may choose to keep this password or login with the credentials above and
create a new password.

Once you have logged into the poker client with your new password, your
account will be upgraded. You can then continue to enjoy the privacy and
security you can expect from Doyle's Room.

If you wish to change your password from the one above, please follow these
steps.

1. Log into the poker client using your screen name and the password above.
2. Click on the tab near the top of the page labeled profile. If you are
having trouble finding it, look between the cashier and buddies tabs.
3. Click on the change password button at the bottom left of the screen.
4. Enter your current password which will be the one in this email and then
choose a new password.

We apologize for this inconvenience and would like to reiterate that this
security update is done as a precaution to protect the privacy of our
customers. We feel that these upgrades will enhance the overall security and
integrity of our poker room.

I got this email too.

Could this be the end of Tribeca Tables? I wonder what we will see when we login with our new passwords.

It's not safe at all. There's a reason for passwords being displayed as astericks even when you have your password saved. A person's e-mail security is generally not going to be as high as their poker site security.
