Default 5/10 Heads Up, Deep

Oppnent is familiar and generally pretty solid and tight. Capable of tricky action, but hasn't been playing fast this session. Stakes are not paticularlly important to him. He views me as kinda reckless and aggro, capable of some tricky action. I cover his stack of about 3600 by a decent amount.

He opens his button to 30 (Has been raising his buttons for that amount about 75%). I have KJo and re-raise to 80. We had been joking around and the amount 50 was kinda an inside joke. He calls pretty quickly.

JJ8 all black. I bet out 50 quickly. He pauses a moment and calls, he didn't seem to be thinking about the other options.

Turn is a low card, but brings in the 2nd flush draw. I think for a minute, then bet 300. First bet of the round that doesn't feel like we are kidding. He thinks for a little longer then makes it 800. I laugh and say, "I really wish I could make it 50 more." He very seriously says sure, but the dealer says no. I call.

River is a red ace. Pot is 860, he has 3150 left.

Comment on anything. (River action in white)

I check quick and he bets 600. I count and raise to 2600. He shoves in the rest and I call.

check/call a pot-sized bet or close to seems ok...

Are you planning on doing anything else? Leading out doesn't give him the chance to fire out with missed draws. Check/fold seems weak, c/r seems like you aren't going to get called by a better hand...

seems like c/c to me, you don't want to play for stacks with a hand like this with 350bb behind against a good, solid player

what is with that flop bet?

it prevents you from getting allin on the turn like you should be.

no kidding.

preflop: basically minraise with a trash hand OOP, yuck

flop: 1/3 pot with monster, total yuck

turn: small overbet (?!) still leaving a lot behind on a drawy board, weird and bad

river: ok i guess, but we should've have gotten to the river with this much left to bet
