$22 big draw itm vs chip leader
Villain has not been playing aggressively preflop prefferring to limp in to a lot of hands. Have seen him make a couple of small raises preflop, once with AK and another with JJ
He has called my blind when folded to him in the last 4 rounds and we've had no real confrontations. Button: 2.5k Villain (sb): 9.5k Hero (bb): 6k has A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Action (Blinds are 200/400): Button folds Villain raises t800 Hero calls Flop: 10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (pot t1600) Villain moves all in Hero? |

Re: $22 big draw itm vs chip leader
oops, just read OP, i should have made clear im pretty certain he has an overpair. The thing is with the button so short here do i really want to call off my chips on a draw?
Also is preflop OK or too loose/passive for this stage in the tourny? Cheers |

Re: $22 big draw itm vs chip leader
You're actually in good shape even if he has an overpair:
20,790 games 0.078 secs 266,538 games/sec Board: Th 4h 5s Dead: equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 50.0794 % 50.01% 00.06% { Ah5h } Hand 2: 49.9206 % 49.86% 00.06% { JJ+ } If he has AA, which is the most unlikely hand since you have the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], your equity is still 44%. I also think your range is to narrow. Whith the money already in the pot, I'm calling here. The difference between 2nd and 3rd isn't that big- if you're winning this hand, you have a good chance to make 1st |

Call. And how do you know he has an overpair, or even top pair? What about 76, 65, A4, worse flush draws, or all the other hands you are ahead of?

Re: $22 big draw itm vs chip leader
I think I'm pushing preflop. A5 suited is good enough times here.

Re: $22 big draw itm vs chip leader
i usually push/fold this pf against a raise, i really hate to just call here.
the flop is a really, really easy call. you are either ahead or like flipping with an overpair. |
