$EV in satelite SnG's

I've been playing around with a spreadsheet working on $EV situations for bubble play in standard SnG's where top 3 pay. However, I am now trying to apply this to a Step type satellite where the top 4 seats pay (the same amount of course). My question is twofold:

1. In my current spreadsheet, an $EV is determined for each potential placed finished . Do I need to do same for the satellites where the payout for each place is the same?

2. One of the formula's involved in the standard SnG spreadsheet for $EV to finihsed 3rd goes as follows:

C3*B4/(B4+B2+B5)*B2/(B5+B2)

Where C3 is the first place finisher's equity percentage, B4 is second place stack and B2 is third place stack.

How do I carry that to a 4th place finish? (If required of course in regards to my first question).
