As of 10 years ago, I think there was only one.

so much for that

I thought Steve Gutenberg was the only one. Most of these have at least one recent one. But a few don't. I'll make a compilation when the dust settles.

She's not the lead in the Mask...another close one though...

[/ QUOTE ]

If she had been up for an Oscar, would she be up for Supporting Actress or Best Actress?

[/ QUOTE ]

I honestly don't remember. It's been years since I've seen the Mask. Since no one has definitively said otherwise, I'm gonna claim it would have been Best Actress, so I win!

Unfortunately Tom Cruise doesn't have a lead in Young Guns, but there's that, the MI series, and Interview...

Just figured I'd mention it since all three movies were mentioned in the thread...

From the trivia section of the IMDB notes on The Crow:

Cameron Diaz was offered the role of Shelley, but turned it down because she didn't like the script

[/ QUOTE ]

Damn her...would have made it sooo much easier!

IMDB says Young Guns (1988) (uncredited) .... Cowboy

Obviously not a lead

Ah, thats probably why I didn't know. Being uncredited barely means he was in the movie. It's the equivalent to stopping by the set to get a sandwich.

This is not a competition. It's a group self-esteem boosting exercise. Everybody wins!

Also I would still like to find a chick that's very clearly a lead and non-cartoon for all 3.

Bison - she was not the lead in Scream. In fact didn't she die in like the 1st 2 minutes?

-Al

Edit - ZeeJustin - dear lord YES there were sequels to Poison Ivy...

[/ QUOTE ]

While granted she didn't play a big role, i remember when the movie was coming out, she was hailed as a main role, on the cover of the poster and stuff. So maybe she kind of counts.
