Default two KK hands

nl1/2 6-max

utg raises to 7, I raise to 22 utg+1 with KK, button thinks and raises to 76! (stats 7/7/x/28), utg folds, ?

I have ~100bbs, he covers.

nl100 6-max

utg raises to 3.50, I raise 3.5x with KK, button coldcalls (64/25 fish), utg pushes quickly.. (stats 9/7/x/70), ?

I have 130bbs, as does button, utg has 100bbs.

Hand one, he's seen alot of agression. I just cant think of what hands someone's likely to do this with? With the small read of 25~ hands he seems like a tag nit so I might lean to folding.

I may also fold hand 2, but if I feel the fish will come along I may go with it because he has an extra 30bb and you're obv ahead of him.

The thing is, playing a 17/11 style myself (I think your prob around the same?) I'm more apt to fold these hand than standard 2p2'ers who have 22/18 type styles.

If by "7/7/x/28" the 28 means 28 hands, this is an easy call (w/ intention of getting AI) or shove, you need a way better read than that to fold kings. Someone on a 25-hand-long cold run of cards could easily think you're squeezing light, it's all the rage these days, the cool MSNL kids do it a lot

2: wtf instacall

Plz just title the thread "FOLDING KK PREFLOP" next time so I don't come in with the expectation of seeing some postflop craziness w/ cowboys and cowgirls

hand 1: you realize I'm reraising an utg raiser and subsequently getting reraised in a comitting fashion. You are correct about the sample size though.

I don't think I've folded AK preflop in like 3 monthes.

Let alone kings

I agree. FWIW. I think this is an example of trying to play too good. There are very few and far between times that it makes sense to muck K-K preflop. What? Like maybe 1x in 1000? I don't think even Doyle, or Phil Ivey would lay these down. IMHO

They're both pushes, but the first one is marginal.
