i agree with jfish. it really requires a read. you can call sometimes, sometimes fold. i mean its up to you. standard would prob be to fold.
if villian checks i check back. do i play it diff- nope. |

Re: 5/10NL 6max... anyone make this river call with JJ?
is this flop a pot control check or is he just a monkey going for a c/r?
anyhow.. i think i tend to call b/c of how weak the hand was played.. or maybe im a fish who is really inspired by foxwoodfiends hand where he called a 100bb river bluff w/ tptk and the guy showed A high |

i would fold preflop, u cant play for set value
since u raised a limper his reraise shows even more strength (unless ur doing this often). If villian is so aggro that i suspect JJ is the best hand i play it the same way expect that i call the river. depends on villian, without reads i would just fold preflop |

Re: 5/10NL 6max... anyone make this river call with JJ?
fold river most times. Under normal conditions, most 20/14 arent capable of this with AK, especially if he views you as TAG. Even though it seems you played it weakly,so he might be firing a second barrel, look at it from his perspective. You called rr pf, check behind on flop, called 2/3 turn bet, leaving less than a pot bet left.
