Pokerstars Class of 2001
if you've been with stars from 2001, they just upgraded your VIP status to Platinum through January. You also receive a free entry into on of their $25,000 class of 2001 freerolls.
pretty nice way to thank those of us who were playing those $100 freerolls they had every night when they were beta testing.

I'm trying to figure out when I opened my Stars account. I know it had to be close to 2001.
Was 2001 all beta testing or were they live at that point? I thought that they went live in Oct 2001 or something like that.

I signed-up in Jan, 2003.
And i thought I had been there awhile. Clearly not. I remember thinking how cool it was to see over 1500 players at the same online site at the same time. A few weeks later I was really impressed when I saw them finally break 2,000 (which they may have done previously for all I know).
