He didn't open raise in the CO, he called the CO's bet on the button. Then called a raise of $9,610 into a pot of $17,410. So he's getting 1.811 to 1 on his money.
It depends on how he views your image of course but I would say almost all PPs, and most cards with paint. I'm not sure it matters though, he called someone else's raise on the button which doesn't show much strength in and of itself. Once you raise all in, he may have sensed a squeeze play was on and didn't believe you had anything special. |

That's exactly the range i put him on, instead he shows KK.
Good disguise-play? or did he anticipate a squeeze play from either SB or BB? |

Look at the stacks.
He cold called a raise with an M under 7 for just under a third of his stack. I don't think his range is anywhere near what you describe. He is not folding this hand and he does not care if the blinds come along for the ride. So maybe I am seeing monsters under the bed or maybe it is because we already know that OPs JJ is about to get crushed but I think the range is very narrow. If you think that Button is a smart player and that he knows what he is doing then how can his range be any wider than AA-KK. |

It's a tough situation but how else do you play JJ out of position?
Without any reads on the opponents, you at least have to put them on range of High cards to medium pocket pairs. If you just call the raise, you're pretty much pot committed anyway. I'm not sure I like calling the raise for set value and folding to a bet. I don't like playing JJ OOP 3 way. Putting the Button on KK+ is giving Button too much credit. |

It's a tough situation [/ QUOTE ] IMO, it's a terrible situation with three crappy options. Fold>>Push>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>Cal l [ QUOTE ] Putting the Button on KK+ is giving Button too much credit. [/ QUOTE ] For most villains I would agree but in this case we know that villain has some smarts and would understand his situation. Ask yourself what hands you would cold call in villain's position ? [ QUOTE ] So ur folding JJ here? [/ QUOTE ] I'm swearing, I'm stomping around the room and screaming about how I finally pick up a hand and this guy has me beat and then . . . Hopefully, I would follow through on my read but I can't promise that I would. |
