does the description "hottest face i've ever seen in person, skinny, big boobs" fit her accurately?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's Lora, and pretty much sums up my thoughts about her. Why she isn't a big time model I have no idea.

[/ QUOTE ]

does lora have some asian in her? If she is the one I'm thinking of, I have her listed as the hottest girl I've ever seen in person.

Its a matter of perspective I guess. Yes, he probably is getting by better than the average minimum wage worker at McDonalds. But remember, he used to be wealthy guy who owned a hip bar in LA, who hung around with beautiful, interesting people all the time. Now he is a broke degenerate who spends most of his time in seedy casinos with seedy people (I am sure you are the exception to this).

Excuse me for being melodramatic and sanctimonious, but sometimes it really does make me sad to see exceptional people ruin their lives because of a serious sickness, and us "pros" just smile and say what a great person they are while raking in the dough. And I am not just talking about JRB. There are thousands of similar people with similar stories who feed the poker pyramid, ruining their lives and the lives of all those around them so some nerdy, pimple faced 18 year old kid will never have to go to college and get a real job or some fatcat bigheaded casino tycoon can build a multi-billion dollar casino with his name on it. But then again, that is really what capitalism is all about, exploiting others for your own personal gain (I really am a communist at heart) so maybe all us poker pros are the quintisential American dream.

[/ QUOTE ]

I guess it all depends on how succesful and happy he was before poker vs how he feels now. I had never heard of him being some kind of huge entreprenurial success, and just assumed poker was as worthy a career for him as whatever he was doing previously. I don't think the majority of people in poker are "seedy" but if you spend a lot of time at the Commerce, it's not hard to be under that impression.

Burrr,

In my career I am down roughly $4,000 to JRB. Yet somehow I can still say he's a great guy to hang out with. Let me know when you've figured out this puzzle, or if you haven't I'll have the answers in white:

the fact that people say that JRB is a good guy and the fact that he's often busto have nothing to do with each other. your entire objection/qualm is totally irrelevant.

All of you are pretty quick to point out what a "great guy" he is, yet I am sure most of you would be the first person on the waiting list if he was on tilt with his last $4,000 in the world in a 10-20 NLHE game. Maybe he is a great guy, maybe there is something with the rest of us that is lacking.....

so being a nice guy and being a poor poker player are mutually exclusive?

or are you saying that you can't honestly like a guy and still play poker against him?

and just for the record the vast majority of my interactions with JRB come away from the table, i've played very very little with him.

i could not possibly imagine bobby being gay. he seems to love women. bi? i dunno, perhaps. he is hardcore into partying and way out there. ive never heard a rumor of him with a guy ever though. wtf do you guys get your gossip from anyway? its like theres a team of nerds in some parents basement brainstorming madeup gossip to create threads with 100 post replies where noone knows if the rumor is true or not.

[/ QUOTE ]

this probably is not far from the truth, sadly.

I don't think so. It's been a month maybe since I last saw her, but Lora was out of this world gorgeous, not just very-cute-but-very-made-up gorgeous.

Definitely not her. She's much prettier than that chick. And FWIW, she's Bulgarian. Very smart too.
