I like flop raise as it protects our hand some. I might think about raising the turn, but others may disagree with this.

Without reading the post: yes.

After reading the post: still yes, but not so much. I want a read before I raise 99 so early in such a loose game. I think the flop raise is fine with the OESD, BDFD and overpair, and don't mind the turn call, but when BB bets a coordinated flop into a pfr, donkbets the turn overcard, and is still coming at you on the river I think your crying call is unnecessary against an unknown.

Edit: oops, trying to do too much at once. Your straight hit on the river. Folding would be wrong, obviously. But, you've only got one card of it, so I say that you're splitting enough that the river smooth-call is right. If you raise you'll be 3-bet by T9, but you'll fold overpairs, two-pairs, etc.

Edit 2: you'll also be 3-bet by a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] frush.

I like the way you played it. I'd play all streets the same way.

I'd don't like the raise pre-flop but everything else looks good.

I think I prefer a showdown against an unknown S&G'er, and river donker. It would be awkward to get 3-bet and have to call to see if he has a flush / chopping the straight, or aggro with turned 2 pair, etc. In other words, I think the whole hand is just fine.

raise the river.

raise/call? that seems like spew, but raise/fold seems too tight.

I don't think those hands are folding

I think a case can be made for raising the river

how about, raise/win.

it is highly unlikely he is betting a 4-flush into 3 people on the turn after getting raised on the flop.

it's also highly unlikely he has exactly T9. and even if he did, he's not 3-betting that because your hand looks like a flush.
