no, not their cover - which is almost as bad...I did an internet search and I think the group is called Big Mountain.

It sounds liker elevator music with words. It was inexplicably big about 7 years ago or so.

And the Byrd's "Mr. Tamborine Man".

Two of my favorites...Proud Mary by CCR and Ike and Tina Turner. Also, check out Devo doing Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones. It's not very well known, but it's a great cover.

Anything by UB40 is among the worst.

It's not superior, just different, but it is still well done. I defintiely enjoyed it when I first heard it.

I didn't mind the original FM version. Worst cover of this song was Smashing Pumpkins version. It sounds like Billy Corgan(sp?) is getting pumped up the bumhole while he sings it.
