KK preflop decision ($2/4 NL)
Hello Gents,
This is my second had in my first orbit at this table. I don't usually play this limit (mostly 1/2 NL) so I didn't have any PT stats on anyone. Only read is that UTG raiser also raised preflop as UTG+1 the previous hand and won the pot after betting out on a ragged flop. I had AK in that hand and folded on the flop. Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $2/$4 9 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $417.90 UTG+1: $380 MP1: $86 MP2: $511 Hero: $382 CO: $466 Button: $482.90 SB: $234.80 BB: $92 Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP3 with UTG raises to $14, 2 folds, MP2 raises to $24, Hero raises to $88, 5 folds, MP2 raises all-in $511, Hero folds. Uncalled bets: $423 returned to MP2. Results: Final pot: $196 My initial thought is that I don't want to shove a full buy-in into the pot preflop with KK. So I thought I'd raise large enough so that only AA could reraise and therefore I would know where I stand. Good line? Stupid line? What's your standard line here? I got berated after folding. People were accusing me of trying to steal. I just know that when someone re-re-raises preflop it usually means only one thing. BTW: Please don't reply if you are just going to say "I didn't know people still played full ring." I'm asking nicely and am not trying to start a flame war. Re: KK preflop decision ($2/4 NL)
I dont fold KK for <100bb pf. It's as simple as that.

Re: KK preflop decision ($2/4 NL)
Usually I'd just min 4bet preflop, then most likely get to showdown with a bunch of min bets and raises.
