Default ($5.50) Iffy KK value call preflop

Raiser had huge early lead but caught some bad breaks against weaker hands all-in that probably has him rushed now.

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t100 (6 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t2805)
UTG+1 (t2158)
CO (t1619)
Hero (t3370)
SB (t815)
BB (t2733)

Preflop: Hero is in Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to t400, CO folds, Hero calls t400

My first instinct was to reraise.

Meh, not horrible. But there are a-plenty of tilting fishies that will stack off w/A9/55 here. From the blinds is plausibly a little more reasonable, c-shoving his likely continuation. But...again, I'd reraise here (or shove, whatever).

its not awful but theres really no reason to slowplay here, id usually reraise, he may come along if you make it 1000...if he reshoves you can call and if he doesnt the pot is big enough to get it in on pretty much any flop.

It is awful to just call because you let a bazillion hands fold out there much worse hands postflop if they miss or have an ugly flop (for them). It's a 5.50 & shove this every time.

So you don't see any merit in calling preflop at all?

Are you saying calling has no merits with someone who plays bad? One of the reasons I decided to call is precisely because of what earlier circumstances had put villain in after having such a great stack early, then having it obliterated by BS. Some of his plays after that seemed rushed.

Not reraising against a moron in the $6s is terrible. I've said it like 5 million times, but what mistakes do most bad poker players make? CALLING TOO MUCH AND GOING TOO FAR WITH BAD HANDS. Why you guys don't take advantage of this is beyond me.
