????????

I park at the valet in front of the hotel. There are 3-5 attendants, and it's never been slow for me.

If thats the case I will have to try again. But the 2 times I have tried to park in the hotel valet, no one gave me a receipt after 5 minutes of waiting so I just self parked.

I have visited Commerce casino twice now. Each time, I have parked in the self-park lot around to the left, behind the casino. Is this the only self-park lot at Commerce. It seems kind of small. There are only three rows of spots to park in. I just followed the self-park signs after exiting the I-5 fwy at Washington and this was where it directed me to park.

Any other advice (besides Valet parking)?

From the sound of your OP you exit onto Washington coming from the 5 South (i.e, you are heading towards downtown LA). When you get off that ramp you have two choices, left or right. If you go left you can immediately take a right onto Tubeway which leads you to an entrance you describe where there is both VIP parking and regular parking (and yes, there are only three rows for autos).

Had you gone right at the freeway exit you travel about 150 yards and you will find a left into the main parking lot (before you get to this left you will pass some closed off areas that look like they might be entrances, they aren't). Once you take the correct left best spot when it is crowded is to stay to the right just past the far end of the Commerce. Generally that is most open and safe.

Commerce parking lot is well patrolled. Use common sense and you will be OK.

Thanks. I appreciate the help. I'm not that familiar with the area and from the graffiti on the surrounding buildings, I'm guessing I don't want to wander around too much in the dark.

Do you play poker the same way you attempt to park?

Try to learn something about the casino/game BEFORE you get there.

PARKING at the Commerce is on 3 sides of the place.

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure what parking in an unfamiliar area has to do with my Poker skills, but I'm sure you know more about it than I do.

Hey Kathy,

Your reply is absurd and unhelpful. Why flame a new poster when it is apparent that he's really asking for tips? All others have chimed in to help. If you think he's that dumb, why even waste your time to reply? I figure you're such a genious player that you're losing money by posting here instead of playing cards.

Don't worry about Kathy bro. If you read any of her other posts, you'll notice she is a troll.

C'mon, Kathy's response was a little funny... Especially if you've ever been to the Commerce. The place is frickin HUGE and parking surrounds 3/4 of it. In fact, from the lot in back that OP is talking about, you can actually SEE part of the huge south lot. It's a little absurd to think that little back lot accomodates all of Commerce.

I agree with you that OP deserves a legitimate answer, but he's gotten plenty of those. So what's wrong with a little levity?

Levity would be fine. Do you think Kathy's post qualifies?

After re-reading, it does seem a little too much of a personal attack. It didn't strike me that way the first time I quickly read it. Sorry.
