If you dig into the links you find that experimeters tell subjects to look for specific things in a video clip. (Expectation)
They look and do not notice the guy in the gorilla suit that walks across the scene in plain sight. Moral of story: Due to IB, you see what you expect to see, and you dont see what you dont expect to see. This has poker implications. Poker is highly visual. |
