Default AA hand?

4-handed Villian is pretty solid 34/27/2.2; I have AA in the Big Blind

Folds to villian in SB he raises, I three-bet, he calls

Flop comes 7 10 K two clubs

check, hero bets, sb calls

Turn comes a 9 hearts

He checks, I bet, he c/raises, I 3-bet, he caps, I muck

Is this standard; after thinking about the action of the hand I fig'd if he had like say KQ or KJ, K blank then it would be better to raise if you can fold to a cap that is. When he caps here I don't think I can call down. Does anyone else play it like this or did I totally donk it up here?

You easily could have just folded an 8 outer getting 11-1.

yeah I thought about that but thats just saying that my two pair outs are even good. After thinking about it I should have just called down after the c/r but I thought after he capped it there's no way he does that w/out a str8,set, or two pair. I figure I had safe 5 outs so I should have called turn folded river unimproved
