8 handed. Top 2 qualify.
Blinds are 400/800. UTG (6100) UTG+1 (17400) MP1 (5400) MP2 (11300) LP1 (5600) CO (7200) Button (10400) Hero (6200) Preflop - UTG raises to 2400, UTG+1 folds, MP1 raises to 5400 all in, MP2 raises to 11300 all in, LP1 all in for 5600, CO folds, Button folds. Hero has Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG is a typical LAG preflop. He is very capable of raising like this with a lesser hand to make it look like he has a monster. His range here is any 2 broadway, 55+, A9+ (seriously). MP1 is the tightest player at the table. He knows UTG will make this play with that range . His range is probably 77+, AJs+. MP2 is quit a bit looser than MP1. LP1 is the worst player at the table. He's pushing any broadway, any suited Ace, and any pair. Hero ? |

Your flop action doesn't totally make sense, you have MP2 both all in and folding...but assuming that you meant MP2 is all in, LP1 all in, CO folds, Button folds...
I guess the best case scenario for you here is that MP2 wins the hand, which knocks out UTG, MP1, and LP1. MP2 would have a monster stack, UTG+1 would have 3x more than you, CO and BU would have you covered, and you'd be down to 5400 with blinds at 400/800 and you'd be the shortstack. With only 2 prizes in play, you're not in great shape in the situation, expecially at a table where it seems nobody is going to play "correct" sat strategy and fold when they "should" fold. So I think you gotta get it in here too, because if you win this hand, you're getting a prize almost for sure, and if you fold (or lose) this hand, you're almost certainly not getting a prize. |

Yeah I edited the original post to fix it pre flop.
What if Hero has JJ ? Is this still an easy push ? |
