25nl 6max: 67s river straight flush... getting paid
Main question is when I flop big, or hit any hand big how do I get paid off. Not just this hand....

I also never seemed to get my premium hands called preflop

I think this hand was played fine.

Re: 25nl 6max: 67s river straight flush... getting paid
If you bet a little less he may come over the top with the straight or hopefully the Ax [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], otherwise you aren't getting called by any hand with that river bet. I think you need to make a bet that he will call, but hope that he has the ace high flush where we know he will raise and you can push.

Re: 25nl 6max: 67s river straight flush... getting paid
The only way you're getting paid here is if the villain came up with a str8 or flush of his own. (And if he didn't I don't think he's calling any bet over two bits.)
With his stack, I'd just push the river. If he calls $5, he's calling the rest. |

Re: 25nl 6max: 67s river straight flush... getting paid
what is a normal raise preflop with say aces at 25 nl? I have been raising to 2, but I think that is too much. I rarely get action...
