This is really lame but lol made it a few weeks ago when I tilted really hard...

Read this before everytime you play.

Rules....
200nl
1.) Max 1.5 hour sessions
2.) Stop loss of $1,000

MUST FOLLOW.

Not play 400nl until you are atleast 30k+.

Grind 200nl til you are rich and can beat it at 10pt/bb.
Keep playing it until you play PERFECT. Yes, its possible.
DO NOT PLAY LIKE CRAP.

Stuff to remember-
-Turn on PT and ace hud on
-Close out of all other stuff (itunes if you want)
-Dont search forums
-Avoid 2p2 nits, look for a decent table
-You are going to get 3bet alot, keep folding and dont
get frustrated and do something dumb
-Ask yourself if you are tired and make sure you want to play poker
-Only 6 tables max right now, do not add anymore til January and comfortability is reached.

Right now- I messed up and tilted it happens. Make sure you do not do it again.
Learn from your mistakes, live and learn. You are capable of making ALOT of
money in poker, but you need to follow advice given here and make sure you dont TILT again.

Golden Rule-
_If You think are on tilt STOP PLAYING IMMEDIATLY-

GOod luck snake.
Current bankroll 23k.
Target bankroll for February- 40k.

Leak: cbeting and 2nd barreling too much.

[/ QUOTE ]

Fix: Vary your Cbets; check top pair OOP HU; fire the bulk of your second barrels when you have position. I also like the idea mentioned earlier in the thread of bulking up the size of your Cbets on occasion.

Leak: Giving shorter stacks too little credit for having hands.

[/ QUOTE ]

FIX:I think it's important to consider pot odds when going against short stacks. If the reward isn't worth the risk, fold.

LEAK: I smoke way too much erb. While this does wonders in dealing with tilt, it hampers my short term memory which is obviously important in poker.

Leak: TILT

i have many smaller leaks, but by far far far tilt is my biggest leak and causes me to lose multiple buy-ins quiet often.

I am probally the perfect example of this leek. I keep going back between heads up and ring. In heads up its acceptable to call down loose. I am making some ace high call downs and getting owned.

This is not mathematically sound, but sometimes I think of it like this: Right now, I've raised pf and cbet, and it cost me $16. I'd be a little sad now if I folded and gave that up, but think of how much worse I'd feel if I spewed off $100. Obv. you have to spew off half your stack sometimes, but giving the appearance of weak bluffy looseness is not all that bad.

LEAK: Bad note-taking. By the end of a session, I feel like I have an OK grasp of my opponents, but whenever I see them again, they're almost complete unknowns because I have no notes or bad notes on them.

LEAK: Stop playing semi-decent to decent players heads up after a table breaks and then turning turbo aggro. Don't forget, you do actually have to have a hand to win HU every now and again, and they aren't always just "playing back at me." Funny though it may be, you can't actually win every hand heads-up.

LEAK: Stoping getting stacked by semi-decent but "stupid" multitabler (did he really just felt TPTK to the most obvious set line in the world...?), track down his other tables and sit at them. Playing 4 tables with a semi-nit is -EV.

LEAK: See Leak #2. Stop tilting when players who "should know better" stack me on stupid plays. Tilt-induced variance-coasters suck. And remember that you're playing LAGish, so questionable calldowns are not actually that unreasonable.
