I now remember that I cried in "An American Tail: Fievel Goes West" when my mom took me to the movies. Hey, the mouse was lost and all by himself, and I was 8 years old.

I saw a sneak preview of "We Are Marshall" last week. I didn't cry, but there are several VERY sad scenes that drew some tears from others in my group.

Lost in Translation and Shawshank are two films that come to mind.

The Notebook
A Little Princess (traveling military father-reference hit home)
A Walk to Remember
The Pursuit of Happyness (my friend was absolutely bawling - both of us take care of little kids)

Millions
^ current favorite movie, literally half the people in my class cried

FWIW I also tear up at those old Kodak commercials, jewelry commercials where the man surprises his wife...i auppose i am just a sucker for marketing

I've cried at a lot of movies, but Grave of the Fireflies is the only one that still affected me the next day.
