Flopping broadway with 3 flush on flop - 400NL
Villain is 30/11, AF of 1.0, WTSD of 16. Effective stacks are $370. Sorry, no HH convertor for this site.
Villain open limps in CO. Hero completes in SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Flop is A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($11.50) Hero bets $8, villain raises to $40, hero calls. Turn J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($91) Hero checks, villain bets $64, hero folds. Is there a better line on the flop or turn? Also, what's the play if a blank or heart hits? I figured I had almost no implied odds even if I called and improved. Felt totally lost throughout this hand. |

Omg, 3bet flop. You have the nut straight and the nut flush draw. That turn fold is just unbelievably bad.

Re: Flopping broadway with 3 flush on flop - 400NL
I guess I don't have any perspective on this.
So what's the villain hand range? AQ/AJ/AT seemed unlikely from the open limp. KTs, QJ, and small hearts seemed much more probable. Does he play JTo w/ a heart like this? Every action of his seemed consistent with a vulnerable flush and not much else. |
