There was a thread over here
about a player that posted a virus.

I noted that I had submitted it to a few AV companies. One finally got back to me and said it is a password stealing trojan that shipped all the captured text off to a remote website.

Definitely not a good thing.

Subscribe to a few of the security/hacking/cracking lists and you'll see this kind of stuff all the time and develop a healthy paranoia on every click.

Edit: cruising the internet is analogous to driving around a major metro area where nobody has brakes....drive a Yugo and you're screwed...drive a tank and you can still get from A to B
