25NL, AKs TPTK call the river here?

Villian is 28/12/1 after 80 hands or so. Do you put villian on KJ here? I've been trying to learn reading hands, but came to figure out I really suck at it so I'm lost a lot.

As always comments on all streets greatly appreciated.

I've played with Villain before but I don't remember too much.. I think if you're betting the river, you have to at least call here. The 2 didn't help his hand and a straight draw missed. I would assume I was ahead but I don't like a raise here, I call and look to see KQ/QT or something marginal here.

Hello. Yes this is fun when you can talk about the hand then have the villian come in to reveal the rest on his end.

So did I get scared off on the river by a missed draw or KJ?

In the hand I put you on KJ after your turn call (which may have gave you the hand no matter what hit the river unless an A hit).

given 2p2er, I think its KJ almost always. Every once in a while you'll see quads.

AK reraises preflop, so thats out. KQ has a tough time calling the flop raise and check/calling the turn, I think this is a slightly spewy KQ some of the time, but most of the time its KJ, especially since he didn't go ballastic once the 3 pairs, he's now being beat by AA. River is a block bet IMO.

Fold. I think you're always beat here.

BTW I prob check turn. I think most hands you're ahead of fold to the turn bet, and by checking, you can induce worse hands to bet on the river, or at least, reduce your losses.
