Default 100NL Set on monotone board - Played ok?

Villan in this hand is pretty TAG so far. Only played like 20 hands against him. Seems like a solid straightforward player. Id usually raise this preflop but the preflop limper was a pretty short stack and i didnt want to commit myself. Basically i feel like villan turned his hand face up with his flop 3 bet. I put him on AA or KK with a diamond. (Occasionally a the made nut flush...) So my thinking is to not shove the flop to see if the turn is a non diamond before i get it in.

Of course the turn is a diamond and i feel i have to call $8 to try to fill up. Does anyone shove flop here and if so, why?

Oh and also a random unrelated question. Do you guys always call 3-4x reraises preflop when 100BB or more stacks are inolved?

easy call. 9 outs to make a full house, 1 to make quads, 8 $ to see the river in a 95,5$ pot. And you do not know that you are behind, even though you assume it.

Just shove flop man. Lots of the stacks are already in, finish it. Hes probably got a bare FD, maybe something like AdJx, maybe overpair with a diamond. Maybe a bare overpair that thinks you're on the draw. But dont give him a cheap shot at a nother diamond.

I think its unlikely he'll bet/3 bet and then fold so Id happily shove the flop (hes not foldign ksk or asa if that what you think he has) plus the pot is very nice by then so I also wouldn't mind taking it down.

Because he's never gonna fold after 3betting half his stack in on the flop.

He sure looks like he wants to get his chips in on the flop. If I had to make a pure guess on the hand I'd think he flopped a low flush and went "AW [censored]" on the turn, I like the calling line to fill up instead of shoving.
