Why don't Full Tilt have Disconnect Protection?

I have to admit, i never got FT disconnects until about a month ago, i am using exactly the same software as before on the same PC setup, yet all of a sudden i have lags, disconnects and freezes.

I get disconnected average once per hour and rarely have this problem with pokerstars.

I freeze at least once and hour and its more like I freeze for about 10-20 seconds every 10-15 minutes. Its pretty much caused me to never want to play at FT anymore, especially since I've tried all the silly 'fixes' FTPDoug recommends that don't do anything.

Perhaps disconnect protection should be made available upon request, on a case by case basis.
Support would then enable DP for those who had genuine problems.
