The guy who posted Captain Kirk was about 15 years too early.

With a toupee and new series, the correct answer is:

"You're under arrest, maggot!"

I never know whether to blame the writing or the actor when a scene seems 'overacted'. This has got to be the epitome of both causes.

I know Caruso. He's a psycho, but he's also hilarious (intentionally, ie he has a great sense of humor). I don't think he's 3rd levelling on the show though.

I think that David Caruso on CSI:Miami is a clear cut favorite. Probably like 98-1 to win this contest.

So it's easily my least favorite of the three but I still watch CSI: Miami. It's got an awesomely bad thing going and the other characters are actually ok.

The writing, though, is ridiculous even for CSI. If you watch all three I would say that 5 times as many people are killed by the police/CSIs on Miami than on NY and Vegas combined. Horatio kills someone about half the time.

I've seen maybe 0.8 episodes of Third Rock from the Sun, but John Lithgow has always seemed like a spaz to me.

You realize he was playing an alien and not really supposed to fit in, right?
