I made a marginal call on him about 2 weeks ago to win like a $1500 pot @ 10/20. He open shoved from SB vs me when I was in BB.. I had AA.... I held.. He had A5. I wouldn't call though. It's not worth it w/ 77.

If we put him on a range and we have an edge against it, we call. This also has the added benefit of possibly putting him on mega-tilt, allowing you to win a lot more in future hands. I think this all comes down to your roll, if u are well backed it makes it a much easier call, if not then you are out of your depth and afraid of putting your money in, even if you are a small favorite.

I have posted before saying i wouldn’t call this and still wouldn’t because I wasn’t there, but form what info iv been given he is a very loose player and does it a lot with marginal hands! We all no what its like to play against this and people like to make a stand against it. Which in my opinion comes down to your roll no one wants to put their money in on a 56% to 43% shot if u cant afford to lose right!? “If not then you are out of your depth and afraid of putting your money in, even if you are a small favourite.” Maybe that’s abit strong, if that’s what your referring to.
