Advice here is pointless without a real read (not PT stats). Some players will do this with a small pocket pair because they are representing an A. Some players would wait until the turn to raise an A here. Some wouldn't. You have to know who you're playing to play this correctly.

He sounds like he sucks if he's limping UTG, so expect Axo here or a small pocket pair. You're probably even money to call down and see what it is and make notes. Knowing what he'll open limp is very valuable, since that is usually a very small hand range.

I would call the flop and turn and reevaluate the river. A worse pocket pair seems like a decent possibility.

doesn't this seem like an obvious spot for a bluff? I call down unless the board changes a lot for the worst on the turn and river.

I mainly call down in these situations because Ive been bluffed so many times in them. Most players in the lower limits slowplay with an Ace, and bluff raise flop without one.
I only have a few K hands at 5/10, but I notice TAGs will raise the paired flops a lot more with trips than in lower limits.

This guy seems like an immediate value player too.

Over 3k hands you should hopefully have more reads on this guy to estimate the likelyhood of him bluffing here

Have you been folding a lot? Have you been bluffing a lot? How's he been doing?

Think of the psychological factors taking place here, cause he's representing the ace. The question is do you believe him?

No one can tell you the right answer based on the information you've given us.
If you always fold here, its a spew.
If you always call here, its a spew.

(im considering stats too)
Most of the time against an unknown its a call down with a good board.
Most of the time to a really tight value players its a fold.
But nothing is set in stone.
