I agree with the majority opinion that Elaine was often hostile, over-opinionated and sometimes illogical, but I find the presumptions about Ed and Elaine's marriage in this thread entirely out of order, and far more personal and spiteful than anything either one of them ever posted.

FWIW, I think the OP by Evan was fine, and there were some good points. But it got petty, venomous and repetitively boring (the Ferris thing was very funny though).

Has anyone got the suspicion that Elaine is probably laughing at OOT about this?

If she posts more provocative stuff in the days to come, I'll guess it'll become obvious.

If she is, she's only helping 2+2 by driving up page hits and advertising dollars. Unless this is all an elaborate dramabomb scheme concocted by DS and EM/EV in the first place. Which would actually be pretty cool.

For additional meta thinking, what if diebitter is in fact a paid forum "villain"? Although its not clear to me what financial gain could be had from his generating massive amounts of hatred and antipathy at this point in time.
