Default Overpair : 4 Way Inflated Pot

Stars .50 / 1

I'm UTG with J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and raise to $3

UTG+1 calls, MP calls, MP calls, Button calls, short stacked SB pushes for $20 total ... BB folds ... I debate and just call ... is a push at all standard here or do we just get called by better hands and occaisional AK ? I haven't played enough cash NL ( and low limit at that ) to say if QQ/KK/AA flat call or reraise preflop with position

Every other player calls, so we go to the flop with 4 active players and $100 in the pot

Flop is 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check (?) and it checks around ...

Turn is a 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check (??), UTG+1 checks, MP checks, MP bets $19, Button calls, I call, UTG+1 folds, MP folds ...

River is 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check (???), MP checks, button goes all in for ~$80 more ... I (????)

This hand plays completely different for me if I'm in position, and it's probably a weakness of mine that I don't play it the exact same way when I'm out of position

Thoughts and criticisms on all streets please ... this is the spot where I feel *really* uncomfortable playing NL cash games ... either races with a medium / big pocket pair or calling large bets when I just don't have enough information ... maybe I did have enough information in this hand

IMO u should reraise after SB and isolate players who called u. If someone will call your reraise u should just bet hard on the flop.

Yep ... after discussing the hand with my friend I realize how badly I butchered this hand ... this is like my dream flop, but should've shoved preflop, or at least flop ... arrgg

Shove preflop looks good, and I shove flop as played. Get valuetown from Tx, I dont think 6's are in their range very often either.

Reraise preflop. Bigger pairs almost always 3 bet pf so that's not a huge worry and you get to isolate against SB w/ nice pot odds.

Reraise preflop and rake in all that dead money from the 3 callers behind. You shouldn't have to worry about there being bigger pairs in the hands behind you.
