Re: Week 15 FF Thread - The Playoff Edition
Just wanted to post to see if anyone had any thoughts on my lineup and if I should change anything. 1 pt 25 yds passing, 1 pt 10 yds rush/rec, 6 pts TD, -2 INT, -2 FL.
Starters: Carson Palmer @ IND LaDainian Tomlinson vs KC Deuce McAllister vs WAS Marvin Harrison vs CIN Donald Driver vs DET L.J. Smith @ NYG Nate Kaeding vs KC DST Rams @ OAK Bench: Corey Dillon vs HOU Brandon Jacobs vs PHI Michael Turner vs KC T.J. Houshmandzadeh @ IND Jason Witten @ ATL DST Chiefs @ SD Only real decisons are my WRs and TE. I have started Harrison/Driver/Witten pretty much the entire season. I grabbed L.J. Smith off waivers this week, and I think I'll go with him, as he seems to be more of a TD threat, and averages almost a point more than Witten. The best FA available is DeShaun Foster, do I have room for him on my roster? I don't want to drop DST Chiefs because they play Oakland next week. Thoughts? |

Re: Week 15 FF Thread - The Playoff Edition
Finished 1st in my league, but have been crushed by injuries. Have lost McNabb, Portis, K.Jones so far - also have the hobbled Chester Taylor.
Anyway, who to start here? I'm planning on starting Jeff Garcia vs. NYG over Marc Bulger vs Oakland and their good D. Starting Rudi for sure - 2nd RB is either Sammy Morris vs Buf (ugh) or Artose Pinner vs NYJ (double ugh). I'll obviously be checking the injury report regarding C Taylor, but I don't want to bag a zero if they decide he can't go or he only plays a little. WR definitely playing Driver and Lee Evans. My question is on Andre Johnson - he was huge early but has SUCKED lately, especially with Carr playing horribly. My other options are all waiver wire specials - DJ Hackett, Muhammad, Bruce, Booker, or Randy Moss. Based on recent results, I'm actually leaning towards Hackett with DJax out, but can I really bench Andre Johnson for these dudes? |

[/ QUOTE ] TY The sickest part to me is that I've had the same core lineup all year, something I've never done. It's nice not really having to think about who you're gonna start on a week-to-week basis for the most part (there were maybe one or two weeks where I made questionable lineup decisions). My team got off to a slow start, but I've pulled off six wins in a row, scored the most points on the year, and am tied for the 2nd best record in the league. I aquired T.J. Houshmanzadeh in Week 9 or 10, but have yet to use him. Anyone sit Harrison in favor of him? |

Re: Week 15 FF Thread - The Playoff Edition
I've had a very similar year to you, a lot of which has to do with Carson catching fire six weeks ago.
I've basically played the exact same line-up every week: Carson, Westbrook, S.Jackson, Burress, 2 of Berrian/Keyshawn/Bruce, H.Miller, Gould and Chicago. The WR is the only thing I've really changed, and I made a TE trade midseason. Half my team is studs that I would never really consider changing. I'm on a 5 game win streak, ended up with the 2nd best record and 2nd most points, about 5 shy of the leader. Of course he lost McNabb and is limping into the playoffs =) |

Re: Week 15 FF Thread - The Playoff Edition
Pretty sure on my two QB's, as well as WR's. RB's might be interesting as I'm trying to get Maroney off waivers. 1pt/20 yds, 6 for a TD. Opponent's likely starting lineup will be Pennington, Palmer - Coles, Burress, Bennett - McAllister, Rudi Johnson - Witten - Hanson - Miami.

Re: Week 15 FF Thread - The Playoff Edition
Oh yeah, for my picks, the scoring is 1pt/20 yards receiving/rushing, 1 pt/50 yards passing. 6 points /TD
