Default Standard QQ Play?

200NL 6max FTP 100BB effective
Hero has QQ in BB. SB(37/23/3) raises to 6, Hero raises to 18, SB calls.

Flop(36):T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks, Hero bets 24, SB raises to 48, Hero calls.

Turn(132):6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB bets 101, Hero pushes...(for like 30 more)

That's what I do. He's too aggressive to do anything else, I think.

If you're willing to go for all your chips with a blank on the turn, what were you going to do with an A, K, or heart on the turn? If he's so aggressive you still would push, isn't it better to push on the flop? Of course you're hosed either way on this hand, but moving on the flop forces him to take the worst of it without AA or KK, and it avoids either being outplayed with a scare card on the turn or folding the best hand.

just calling the flop gains value from his bluffs/semi-bluffs and weaker hands that he might fold to a 3bet. It is definitely worth the risk here IMO. 3betting allows most players to play perfectly.

This is true, but are you likely to get all his chips when he has a hand like JJ,99, AK, or AT? Probably not. But you have to decide what to do when an A or K hits. Is an over pair really strong enough to risk all your chips by trapping?

In a blind vs. blind situation vs. a very aggressive opponent, yes and yes.
