Hero has QQ in BB. SB(37/23/3) raises to 6, Hero raises to 18, SB calls. If you're willing to go for all your chips with a blank on the turn, what were you going to do with an A, K, or heart on the turn? If he's so aggressive you still would push, isn't it better to push on the flop? Of course you're hosed either way on this hand, but moving on the flop forces him to take the worst of it without AA or KK, and it avoids either being outplayed with a scare card on the turn or folding the best hand.

Probably not. But you have to decide what to do when an A or K hits. Is an over pair really strong enough to risk all your chips by trapping? Charlie |
