Default Re: Out of position hand #1: Best way to build a pot here?

I might be missing something here but I dont really understand why everyone has ruled out AA, 77 and 22. The pot is limped preflop; any number of players, myself included, like to limp aces preflop and hope to see a raise after them then pop it back for the pot and try to get it heads up going into the flop. As for 77 and 22, again, it is unraised preflop, I dont at all see why hands like 7768, etc are being counted out. General strategy here should be to bet the pot and hope to get raised by some sort of A2Kx with the K-high dimaond draw where you're pretty much free-rolling. Checking the flop then having someone complete a str8 on the turn because you gave a free card is a miserable feeling. Just bet and hope to get called.
