Default Should I play ring games or 6max tables on FTP?

I want to play small-mid stakes at FTP and hopefully move my way up to higher stakes, and it seems like there are a lot more options if you want to play at the 6-person tables rather than the 9-person tables. should this affect which tables i concentrate on playing on?

thanks for the response. is this because you get more hands per hour? or because the players are worse? or because there are more available tables? or all 3?

i prefer the 6m over the FR because you get to see more hands per hour - if you're a winning player more hands = more profit. of course you can't be extremely tight since the blinds come around quicker but you do see a lot more hands, and better game selection.

All 3. Also you get more rakeback as a result of playing more hands.

What stakes? If you're playing less then $50 NL then I would hit pokerstars and when you move up to $50, take advantage of FTP's 100% sign up bonus and use rakeback. I've found at the $10NL there are a lot of tags bonus whoring, the games seem a lot better at stars.
