IF he wants to brag let him brag, it shouldn't effect you in any way. He obviously has an appreciative audience and a whole forum devoted to the idea. Also internet poker is a very solitary profession with little external validation and recognition of accomplishment so why not try to get some when you can?

WTF, last time I checked this wasn't the 'Pride Goeth Before the Fall & Beats & Variance forum'

You also seem very upset at people who are genuinely amazed by cts's run, which makes it sound far more like jealousy than a desire for humility.

I'm happy for you if that's really the case, but most of us just don't have this type of psychological fortitude for variance.

I've read a lot of your posts/interviews and I have a lot of respect for your values/honesty, and I think you have a good point about a lot of young poker players being unneccessarily arrogant for no good reason. However I don't think that's what this post is about. Imo posts like these tend to have a overall positive effect on the people reading it because instead of getting jealuous (which I admit I am) it helps us to motivate ourselves which is neccessary because there's no one to force us to work unlike in traditional jobs.

CTS: can you describe a typical "CTS-grinding" day; e.g. wakeup/start playing/meals, gym(??) etc? I can't even comprehend how u get in 4,500 hands / day EVERY day.

I've played 3,000 hands in a day perhaps a half dozen times this entire year and wanted to kill myself afterwards...granted, I am more careful about table selection than anyone on these forums, but still...

I salute your diligence, sir.

I've got mono right now so I can't play sports or anything and have just been putting in a ton of hands. I was in Atlantic City for 4 days though with 2+2ers Josh and Ezra, which was a lot of fun.
