Re: learning russian
I'm about 6 months into trying to learn it. The Pimsleur CD's are pretty good, they are geared a little too much towards business but there is no substitute for audio, its impossible to learn from books alone. I like the New Penguin Russian Course book and http://www.masterrussian.com/ has some decent resources also. PM me, we might be able to work something out as far as loaning you my stuff as I finish with it.

Re: learning russian
xhawks,
I've been studying Russian in school for a couple years now, and this [censored] is hard. I don't think I would be able to do it by myself if I didnt have a teacher constantly correcting my mistakes. |

Re: learning russian
itunes has some learn Russian (Henry N Raymond) which seem ok. I have downloaded it onto my ipod in an attempt to learn (the wife is Russian).
I have since decided that I can satisfactorily hate the bitch in english alone. |
