Default Do any sites proactively ban play that originates in the U.S.?

Let's say a Canadian is visiting the U.S. and wants to play at Party or Paradise. Will he/she be allowed to play from a computer in the U.S. that clearly originates from an American I.P.?

Thanks.

I was there last week, had my laptop in a couple of US hotels. Played at Paradise and Crypto with no problems, and I think I may have logged on to Party, but didn't play there. FWIW, I'm Canadian.

I was able to play at Paradise (I tried it when they changed the "Payday Bonus" conditions) at the very end of November from the States. I will be there again in a couple of weeks and will try others. Paradise is going downhill fast as many posts have mentioned so they shouldn't be blocking anyone.

Party and Empire have not worked from the States the last few times I have tried.

Betfair/Poker Champs is the only network that I know of that bans IP's.

My understanding is if the Canadian was living in the US then they would not be allowed since the law effects US residents. I have an American friend who lives in Tokyo who is not effected.

Ongame (Hollywood) won't allow you to access from the US. I've had numerous conversations about being from the UK but playing while traveling in the US and they have told me "no way."
