22\" Monitor

I want to buy a 22" monitor. My question is very simple...

What defines the resolution, the monitor or the computer (I have a notebook). If it's the computer how do I check what is my max resolution???

Both ur video card and ur monitor will have there own min and max resolutions. To get what u want u need to work with both.
