sorry...left earlier than planned...but those were appealing.
any who...this place is like an upscale sports bar. it has a very high rating on citysearch.com what we got... appetizer calimari (included artichokes and olives -- garlic mayo'y sauce was d'lish) salad crab fruit salad (too heavy on the creamy vinegarette dressing) entrees dijon hanger steak (cooked to perfection = rare for hanger) wasabi ahi tuna (nice but had a line of tendon or something that gave FFK trouble) note - each entree came with 2 sides garlic mashed taters (solid yet unimpressive) blue cheese mashed taters (tasted just like garlic mashed w/ a hint of bluecheese...again solid, but not impressed) sauteed mushrooms (baby mushrooms...very tasty) cheese spinach (excellent but have yet to taste a blend as delicious as boston market) |

crab fruit salad...spring time mix lettuce w/ bits of mango, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, kiwi...topped with lump crab meat. It was a bit aggressive.
no dessert...too full and the wine was kinda crappy (William Roan Viognier 2k4 -- craaaaaaaaaap) could have maybe gone for an expresso but meh...still had 2 full glasses of wine to polish when I signed the check. Service was excellent. |
