So much for a friendly debate. No wonder you have dubbed yourself AlienBoy.

I was refering to the way in which the Supreme Court views pornography (I was quoting or paraphrasing a Supreme Court justice in fact) - and that similarly in this case I believe that they would use common sense as a guide as to what is reasonable regulation ("well regulated").

To your original point, I might not agree on firearms regulation that congress or the federal government comes up with, but I wouldn't say that it is not well-regulated because I disagree with it. Nor would something be well-regulated simply because I agree with it. That would be alien to me.
