Minne is a no go, and with the emergence of JR Smith I don't think Denver wants to trade for him at this point. (Andre Miller had 20 assists last night).
It looks like Chicago or Boston right now. Personally, I really don't want the Celtics to get him because Iverson is just a stopgap that would prevent them from a good chance at Oden or Durant, both of whom I would rather have than Iverson, and we wouldn't have to give up younger players. The other option is Dallas, but I think Jason Terry is a much better complement to Dirk than Iverson would be because of his deadly 3pt shooting. Either way, this is pretty exciting. |

Orlando or Sacramento anyone? Both would seem to make sense on some level, more than Boston at least.
Orlando sends Jameer Nelson, Darko (RFA), Garrity and maybe a pick. Sacramento sends Bibby, Kevin Martin, and a pick? (I just made these up, so they are completely unsubstantiated rumors, as opposed to the legit rumors you hear in the media. Oh, and I didn't look up salaries or anything, just made my best guess.) |

I don't see anyway he goes to Dallas, although if he did. They would be superhuman.

As a Magic fan, I would really not want them to make that trade.

Let's assume there's no pick, or it's a 2nd-rounder. They'd love to be rid of Garrity's contract. They're likely to lose Darko at the end of the year anyway, if you believe Chad Ford. So...they would hang up the phone on what essentially could be Iverson for Jameer straight up? I doubt it. Iverson's contract is of course a concern, but it only has two more years, and they would immediately become the overwhelming faves in the East (the window on Miami's current roster has closed IMO). Isn't Iverson a perfect fit for them if anyone? Edited to add: Depending on the exact pieces, they might be able to get away with including Arroyo instead of Jameer, although Jameer makes more sense, w/ the Philly ties. They have tons of the kind of players Philly figures to be looking for: Darko, Ariza, Redick, Jameer, Arroyo, rights to Fran Vasquez, etc. They could even take former Magic 1st-rounder Steven Hunter back to replace Darko. The more I think about it, this may have potential. |

FWIW. I don't see a SINGLE source anywhere on the net with the Mavericks even interested except that one article in this thread. I find that odd.
